    Alyson is currently a freshman at Miami University, competing on the Women’s Varsity Tennis Team. She graduated from St. Ursula Academy in 1999 where she had the honor of being valedictorian of her class. While playing high school tennis, Alyson was voted the Toledo City League Player of the Year for 4 years and as a senior was selected to the Ohio All State Team and was named by the Toledo Blade as the Scholar Athlete of the Year. Alyson has successfully made the transition to college tennis and had a successful fall semester at Miami. She was recently recognized as one of only 15 student athletes to achieve a 4.0 G.P.A. and has earned the honor of being on the Presidents List. She was recently inducted into the Alpha Lamda Delta Honor Society at the university and is also a member of the Delta Gamma sorority. While competing for Miami in the fall, Alyson won the Mid American Conference Indoor Championships at court 6. In 1998 and 1999, Alyson won the Toledo City Singles Championships and was a finalist in the City Mixed-Doubles last summer when she teamed up with her brother, Brandon. Brandon is currently the captain of the Bowling Green men’s tennis team. Alyson is planning to be a tennis pro at Sylvania Country Club this summer.
